The GC1000 supports HDMI (both in and out), Component, S-Video and Composite and can record up to 1080i, well surpassing any other system on both features and price. The GC1000 retails for $139.99 and offers a lite version, the GC500, for $69.99. The video is sent through the USB port to the PC, allowing the user to play the games on their big screen TV, resulting in no traditional lags or delays on the computer screen.

Diamond users can connect their game console directly to the GC1000, which is then connected to the TV via the Video-out port. Diamond's GC1000 bridges that gap and allows today's more sophisticated users to record and play in real-time with no delays, an important feature for quick reflex games like first-person shooters. Traditional video capture devices do not support video pass-through and were only intended for users to convert VHS tapes to digital formats and DVD. "With Gamers and gaming as the core of our company, we know their pain points and and we wanted to provide our key consumer with a solution that provides them with an easy way to broadcast and share their game-play without disrupting the experience with lags and delays."

Ordinarily, spelling champions from HCPS’ 46 elementary schools and 12 middle schools gather onstage at a middle school auditorium to determine the annual champion. The Henrico Education Foundation had the trophy made. The award was made possible by a donation from four-time Henrico spelling champion Tejas Muthusamy, a former Moody student now at Maggie Walker Governor’s School. That means the trophy, which resides at the winning school, will remain on display at Moody. Nanduru’s is the third Moody Middle School championship in as many years. The winner was presented with the HCPS spelling trophy at Moody Middle School Tuesday afternoon by school division representatives, including Marcie Shea, School Board vice-chair and Tuckahoe District representative, and Amy Cashwell, superintendent. Nanduru clinched the 2021 title in the second round by correctly spelling “graticule,” the network of latitude and longitude lines on which a map is drawn.
